Description
Description
The Metalbone Pro EDT 2026 is built around one objective: maximum offensive performance. Its diamond geometry and 285mm head-heavy balance concentrate mass toward the upper section of the racket, creating greater inertia as the racket accelerates through the ball. For technically advanced players, this translates into tremendous potential on flat smashes, kick smashes, X3s, aggressive viboras, and high volleys.
The hitting surface uses Carbon Aluminized 16K, providing the rigidity and direct response required for high-level attacking play. Inside, adidas combines this firm surface with EVA Soft Performance, creating a more responsive core that provides excellent ball output and helps balance the rigidity of the 16K carbon construction.
The racket also introduces several technologies specifically focused on generating additional power. Power Groove reinforces the frame through an integrated rail, while Extra Power Grip extends the handle to increase swing inertia. Combined with the Octagonal Structure and Low Poly geometry, the result is a rigid, aerodynamic platform designed to turn racket-head acceleration into explosive ball speed.
Features and Technologies
- Diamond Shape – Attack-focused geometry positions the sweet spot higher on the racket for greater leverage and offensive power
- Head-Heavy Balance – 285mm balance increases inertia through overhead shots, smashes, and aggressive volleys
- Carbon Aluminized 16K Faces – Premium aluminized carbon construction provides high rigidity, stability, and an explosive response during powerful impacts
- EVA Soft Performance Core – Responsive EVA rubber provides excellent ball output while adding comfort to the racket's rigid carbon construction
- Weight & Balance System – Improved removable-weight system allows players to modify the racket's weight and balance by approximately 11.2g
- Power Groove – Integrated rail around the racket profile increases structural rigidity and enhances power transmission
- Extra Power Grip (EGP) – Extended handle increases swing inertia to generate greater racket-head speed and power
- Octagonal Structure – Reinforced octagonal frame geometry reduces torsion and improves rigidity during aggressive impacts
- Low Poly Technology – Angular frame geometry supports aerodynamic acceleration and structural performance
- Smart Holes Curve – Curved hole arrangement optimizes the drilling pattern to improve racket response and spin potential
- Structural Reinforcement – Strategic reinforcement increases durability and stability during intensive competitive play
- High Sweet Spot – Elevated optimal hitting zone complements the diamond shape and rewards technically precise attacking contact
- Metalbone Protector Tape – Integrated protective system helps defend the frame against scratches and everyday court contact
